Till Stephan receives funding by the DFG to explore how ER-mitochondria contact sites control cellular homeostasis.
Till Stephan has been awarded funding through the Emmy Noether Programme of the German Research Foundation (DFG).
With the funded project, our research group will explore how contact sites between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and mitochondria regulate cellular lipid composition and contribute to cellular homeostasis.
The Emmy Noether Programme enables outstanding early-career researchers to lead independent research groups and pursue innovative research projects at an early stage in their careers.
